MIND-BODY FITNESS AWARD
FOR EXCEPTIONAL PERSONAL
ACHIEVEMENT
For the last
four years, Mind-Body Fitness has awarded $250 to the Whistler
Secondary Grade 12 graduating student who has "demonstrated the most significant personal growth and positive change during their time at Whistler
Secondary".
The purpose of this award is to encourage and reward a student who
might not normally be recognized, yet has shown significant ability to adapt, change, and grow, perhaps in the
face of considerable challenges.
The student is nominated and chosen by teaching staff through consensus or a simple majority vote,
and the student is free to use the money for whatever purpose they wish.
We are very
proud of the winners of this award:
Year 2000:
EHREN HESS
Year 2001: JOSH
ADELBERG
Year 2002:

Year 2003:
ROBBIE PEEBLES "Success
does not necessarily involve great intellect or great position
or great wealth; it has to do with inner integrity."
